We are pleased to announce that we have reserved our date for the Community Allstar Slo-Pitch Challenge 2026 and cordially invite you to participate, as our guest.
As a participating charity you will receive free tickets for staff, members, and friends. You will also have a booth space at the game to promote your organization and any participating members that would like to participate. (subject to availability)
This year’s Community Allstar Slo-Pitch Challenge, is a fun game with numerous nonprofits participating and promoting their programs. Below are some game day details and a short video from last year
What: The Community Allstar Slo-Pitch Challenge is a fun and competitive Slo-Pitch Game with our Edmonton Police Service Officers playing an Edmonton Community Allstars Team featuring Oilers Alumni, E/E Football Alumni, media and more.

Post game on field fun: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
More than a Game: The Community Allstar Slo-Pitch Challenge has many parts to it.
1. A fun and competitive Slo-Pitch Softball Game with entertaining and
fun interactions, games and activities for all.
2. Information and Inclusion! With booths, displays and interaction, this years Community Slo-Pitch Challenge provides information, education and cooperative efforts to bring together non-profits, business, community and volunteerism in Edmonton.

The Mental Health Foundation raises funds to enhance mental illness and addictions recovery through integrated systems of care, research, education, and innovation. We support essential programs and services to ensure Albertans have accessible mental health care when they need it most. We have a better future in mind — where the people in our communities live happier, healthier lives.
Our Walk for Peace includes:
- A community-led Meditative Peace Walk guided by Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe
- A mindfulness and meditation class in the park taught by Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe
- Family-friendly games, kid's activities, and lively entertainment including stilt walkers and jugglers
- A delicious community lunch
- An invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with others in a spirit of peace and compassion
Whether you're new to our community or a long-time friend, we welcome you to take part in this meaningful day of reflection, joy, community connection and promoting peace!
